According to the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM), as of 2015, 35% of working-age Nigerians are involved in a form of entrepreneurship. This is projected to increase significantly in the next 3 years considering the unemployment/underemployment rate in the country.
A huge portion of these entrepreneurs is involved in the multimedia industry, especially photography and cinematography. These are important aspects of the event industry in Nigeria which is currently worth an estimated value of $300 million.
In order to save time you have to break down the content strategy for the event or conference you are planning step by step. Creating this process from scratch will take the longest amount of time to build, but once you have content production foundation.
Nigeria Photo-Cinema Exposition is an event that seeks to provide a platform for young entrepreneurs to learn and interact with experts in the photography and cinematography industry in Nigeria whilst forming new and lasting relationships with other event industry professionals. The idea is projected towards decreasing the rate of unemployment/ underemployment by creating an environment that connects creatives in the Multimedia sector such as photography, cinematography, branding and content creators. The exposition is scheduled to hold in the city of Ibadan, Oyo State.
